Our Mission:
“to advance the study of the vascular system by bringing together scientists from all fields of vascular biology for the exchange of new concepts and discussions of outstanding questions in the field”
Our membership is drawn largely from the medical sciences including physiology, pathology, pharmacology, biophysics, developmental biology, genetics, computational & systems biology, cardiology and internal medicine, as well as veterinary sciences.
Topics addressed include – but not limited to – angiogenesis, angiocrine signaling, atherosclerosis, the endothelial cytoskeleton, inflammation, leukocyte biology, lymphatics, mechanosensing, endothelial metabolism, oxygen sensing and hypoxia, neuro-vascular interactions, redox signaling, vascular tone, vascular adaptions in ischemic cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and diabetes, non-coding RNAs in regenerative medicine, and personalized medicine.
