DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nWe are excited to announce the Joint Meeting between the German Society for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology and the British Microcirculation and Vascular Biology Society to be held July 7-8\, 2022 at the Kaiserin-Friedrich-Foundation in Berlin (Mitte)\, Germany. \nThis joint meeting of the two national societies will bring together international experts from various fields of (micro-)vascular research to foster scientific exchange and strengthen (inter)national collaborations and networks. The conference will host a series of plenary sessions as well as dedicated poster presentations to represent the full breadth of our discipline\, including hot topics in angiogenesis\, glycocalyx research\, infection and vascular permeability\, atherosclerosis and inflammation\, microcirculation in heart failure\, pulmonary hypertension and renal microvasculature.
